ANOTHER WAKE UP CALL!!!

"Character is what the world needs – character that will empower the mind with such an unimaginable strength that one would meet death face to face and say ‘some other time, pal!...Abhijit Naskar. Neuroscientist and advocate for wellness and global harmony

Mother Earth Always Teaches, But…Do We Listen?

History is fond of replaying itself like examination past questions, which is why it is imperative to pay close attention to past events in order to get a possible clue of the future.
The Internet has indulged hundreds of unconfirmed theories to fill the air, some good enough for movie plots, others sparking the greatest brainwash of the century.
Yes, wordplay wizardry may convince you that there are loads of conspiracies out there; it would be wise to have a mind of your own. This becomes a lot easier if we do not tamper with nature, and if we only searched for news and knowledge from credible places.

“You’re never perfectly safe. No human being on Earth ever is or ever was. To live is to risk your life, your heart, everything”…Rick Yancey (1962- ) American Author who writes works of suspense for young adults.

Are We Safe?

Safety is one of the most searched and improvised words especially in modern day because it does not only increase productivity, it also helps us realize the importance of human well being even if we need the bottom line to be robust in order to afford essentials.
The infection rate and the subsequent death toll worldwide as a result of the covid 19 pandemic has been breathtaking and has been devastating to families, friends, organizations and communities say the least.
No doubt this grim development has brought panic and fear to everyone around the world, causing everybody to forcefully unite in safety by staying home in order not to spread the aggressive virus further.

“Scared is what you’re feeling; Brave is what you’re doing”…Harvey Penick (1904-1995) American Golf professional and coach.

Unsung Heroes On The Frontline

I have always known that Doctors, Nurses and other health workers are important, but I have never appreciated them this much ever before, especially now that they stare death in the face with untold courage.
The surge in the praises from the public towards the Health workers sure feels good as we shamefully realize that they and other essential workers like farmers, truckers, delivery guys, bus drivers, Grocery store workers and the Police are more significant than we ever thought.

“Maybe you’re not perfect, but you certainly are not unworthy. You are beautiful. A flower with a petal still unfurled does not lack in fragrance”…Mona Soorma. Indian Author and Poet.

We Will Win

Hope, they say helps keep the faith, and allows us to nurture the spark of courage within us. So far, it has been impressive how the entire world has shared knowledge, initiatives and strategies on how to battle the unseen enemy, and it seems to be working. This shows that we are doing something right, and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Perhaps what we need is more courage, perseverance, love and transparency on how to finish off the raging disease and we will come out of it victorious.

This Blog post is dedicated to the essential workers that are working round the clock both in the front lines and behind the scene saving our lives and keeping us safe as we stay indoors like responsible citizens. We salute you.

God bless Nigeria, Africa, and the entire world!
