ANTI-CORRUPTION: FIGHT TO THE DEATH?

"Fighting corruption is not just good governance, It's self defense, it's patriotism"...Joe Biden

READY? FIGHT!

Growing up, wrestling was probably one of my favorite sport events. I knew the names of virtually every wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation, popularly called the WWF. I and my siblings would mimic the super moves of our best athletes and we would even hurt ourselves sometimes by either jumping off the bed with our capes tied to our necks, or hit ourselves accidentally, while of course mom should never know. The WWF seemed then like fun, but after growing older, I realized that in the real world, we practically have to fight for virtually everything, not just to stay alive, but in order to be relevant.

THE REAL WORLD

Believe it or not, you've got a fighter in you, and trust me, he's as nasty as they get. Remember when you were much younger? You never wanted to lose that race in High school, you strived to win all the sports you participated in, and ultimately, you definitely strived at least not to fail in your academics, if those grades dared slip you knew it was one big trouble.
Thank God that looking back today, it's a thing of joy that we survived the apparent torture of childhood and now we are in the real world of true events and 'no excuse' economic reality, but seriously speaking, how hard and how intense must we fight, that is if we are compelled to fight at all?

SUPERMAN

Here I am with movies again right? Hell yeah! Think about it, who doesn't know Superman, or wish to be one? I do, and countless other folks that secretly fantasize about the childish dreams. If you are a Superman fan however, you would probably give kudos to the creators and writers of the hero for providing an interesting and compelling story of how the super-human has a weakness, thus emphasizing man's weakness as God's superiority.

The kryptonite makes Superman weak and vulnerable, just as the razor to Samson’s hair renders him useless and capturable. Just like by principle every man has a weakness or perhaps a price, emphasizing the fact that there is probably no superman per se as we are all liable.

GERMS AND REVERSALS

Not to be modest, but I wasn’t extremely fantastic in school, but I definitely did learn some valuable stuff like, our bodies do have beneficial germs that help us perhaps survive unfamiliar and uncomfortable terrains, and also helps us resist other germs, like some immunity kind of thing (Pardon my rambling and maybe you should try to google more of it if you like). My point in reference to real life situation is, as odd as it may sound, there are actually some crime that perhaps shouldn’t be totally annihilated in order to preserve the natural order of things like the eco-system, so that there remains sanity in nature. Remember good and evil? Well, we didn’t create it, yet its all around us, and we constantly make comparisons that make us appreciate the value of good even in the presence of evil.

IT ALL COMES TOGETHER

For the record, I’m not exactly trying to write a book about the life you already know, who am I by the way? But seriously think about it, don’t you like when things come together? More like for good.
Incidentally though, this goes out to Nigeria, and then the world, do we really hate corruption? Its either we are being economical with the truth, or we barely have a vague knowledge of what corruption really is. Mind you, we were born into a system that celebrates looters, oppressors, thieves and erring contractors so far they have enough cash to throw around and sprawling material possessions to intimidate the average citizen. We were born into a society where a hungry man gets lynched for pilfering a loaf of bread, where is the love brethren?

Not that we are blind to the truth that stares us in the very eye that we simply downplay intelligence and celebrate mediocrity. Just like scientist predicted that humanity wilt be extinct in four years if we killed all the honey bees, perhaps so will an entire nation obliterate if our stereotypically termed corruption is stamped out, especially as solely as we make to mar.
Just like wrestling, imagine if there was no Andre the Giant, how would Hulk Hogan have ever shined?

Thank you.

BE NICE!

"It is nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice"...John Templeton

MR. NICE GUY

The man only marvelled at his son's innocence and smiled as he walked gently towards him and thinking to himself 'Nice you say? Boy! you sure have a lot to learn'.

ARE YOU NICE?

An African proverb reiterates through the resounding preaching of our fathers that it takes a community to raise a child. In the light of this, I'll assume that it is safe to say that we all have been scolded by even neighbours and older relatives we have hardly ever known, only for us to be shaped into apparent perfection and become respectable citizens.
Spare the rod, spoil the child they say, the reprimands surely have their downsides, to an extent robbing us of our confidence at some point especially when it crosses the line, but I'm convinced that the benefits outweigh the demerits, because we were basically meant to rediscover ourselves and acquire the capacity to survive, and with our minds intact of course.

TOUGH LOVE

This has an ingredient of a Positive Mental Attitude (PMA), more like optimism of seeing the best come out of a child in future when you sternly correct him when he is wrong, and the tenderness to connect with him and draw him close when he is hurting.

Carefully take a look around you, as far as around the world for that matter, and try to intuitively narrow it all down in your head.
We have totally mis-priortized our lives so much that even as new words such as 'swagger' emerge, we are replacing old ones such as 'good' with those with much less content such as 'bad' for instance which is typically the direct opposite.

"Everyone in this world is connected. So why not just be nice to everybody"...Richard Simmons

THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT US

We are all in a massive hole circled by reversed psychological conspiracy where the government keeps secrets from regular citizens only to use the information against them.
That is why cases of terrorism, drug deals, monopoly, high taxes and wars may never end. These guys are speculative humans, they are bored and have to constantly play games, chess more like, and guess who the pawns are, we of course.
These guys are building a secret war machine and that is why they constantly divide us on religion, race, ethnicity, economy, immigration, policies, world power, gender, sexual orientation so much that I lost count.
So technically, it is entirely up to us to be nice enough to redirect our direction and tread the path of greatness for the sake of the coming generation.

BITTER TRUTHS AND HAPPY ENDINGS

So where was I about the butterfly guy and his dad? Well, science simply tells us that struggling to break out of the pupa shell is a major stage which guarantees the survival of the butterfly. It's an exercise which toughens the butterfly up and enables it fly around in it's beautiful colours. So you're actually being nice when you leave it to struggle for it's own survival.

This means rich folks need to let their kids fend for themselves, the government has to let nature run it's course and follow the right order of things by putting a stop to the constant downplay of excellence and they should quit celebrating mediocrity.
Government officials have to stop inflating contracts and padding budgets lawlessly and for their greed and self-interest, for the love of God, truly emotionally intelligent people can make sufficient wealth legally, when will these guys ever realize that stolen funds are toxic and changes people into beasts even they can hardly recognize?

When you're nice, you'll have true love, a sense of humour and never will have to worry about a thing because you'll be beautiful on the inside and will always be young and healthy.

That's all folks, thanks for your precious time.
