ARE WE AT WAR?...

“Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win”…Sun Tzu

The Battle and the war!

Ever heard the catch phrase ‘Lose the battle and win the war’? Well, it’s actually an analytical figure of speaking, same as ‘let the little fish go so that you can catch the bigger fish’; only in this context it looks like you are systematically creating a bait for an apparent enemy or prey as the case may be.

My point, we need to move on up, way beyond mediocrity and truly live up to our creed when we constantly say; ‘Think outside the box and look at the bigger picture’.

Essentially though, it is pertinent to acknowledge the very likely idea that we are unwittingly deposing the fact that we are at war with one very unlikely enemy… ourselves.
In as much as this is no mystery at all, it is however unsubtly disturbing that we are cautiously working hard to do absolutely nothing positive about it, how convenient, sarcastically speaking.

“I must study politics and war that my sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy”…John Adams

War and peace

Life they say is as easy as it gets, yet hard and vice versa.
We being at war with ourselves goes beyond having multiple personality disorders which ultimately confuses and hurts us like an auto-immune disorder, but we have also failed to love our neighbours, not necessarily as ourselves as we also have failed to work at doing that due to our selfish pride, over-bloated egos and lack of contentment.

“War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength…George Orwell

Need a wake up call? Well, here goes: Believe it or not, the world is massively hacked and relentlessly rigged, whether you like it or not.

Still in doubt? Look at it this way. The world has existed for as long as science and history tells us, right?
Which of course literally culminates to millions of years, I don’t mean to be vague, I’m just trying to meet the scientists half way as they all come up with different theories and schools of thought.

Moving forward, with the earth currently containing about seven billion people, and statistically perhaps a previous One hundred and eight billion have died away from the inception of life till date.

“The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting”…Sun Tzu

There is definitely an assurance more than probability that the odds allow constant crisis and manipulations from group to group due to human nature to dominate, hence wars, conspiracies and even terrorism.
Scientists have however postulated (as usual) that man’s ultimate goal is inner peace, which occasionally occurs after contentment and fulfillment of touching lives.

“Tell me why are we so blind to see that the ones we hurt are you and me?”…Gangsta’s Paradise by Coolio (American Rapper, Chef, Actor and Record Producer)

Peace and love

We are fond of saying we want peace and we care about people, truth is they both require commitment and hard work.

I learnt from a friend sometime ago that love is the ability and virtue to make an unconditional sacrifice for man and humanity.
This has stayed with me for as long as I can remember, yet we constantly have a bunch of secret groups popping out of every corner like James Bond trying to fix the world.

We have heard of loads of conspiracy theories where both Government and terrorists tend to dictate which direction the world goes by monitoring the internet, weaponry, high level information, transportation and fortune 500 companies which include pharmaceuticals, oil, computers and not to make little.

“Share your smile with the world. It’s a symbol of friendship and peace”…Christie Brinkley

The kinds of battles that happen behind the scenes are both clandestine and overwhelming.
The fate of the world and her inhabitants are defined on a round table of a few privileged, they being wealthy and powerful is an understatement, their mission is to play God, while playing our lives like a game of chess, and if they determine that the world goes to war, they are the ones who won’t be carrying rifles, but we and our children definitely will, and if I vividly recall as do you, there are usually casualties in such circumstances.

“Love, we say is life; but love without hope and faith is agonizing death”…Elbert Hubbard

Love and Faith

I get a lot of criticism for always bringing up love, but wouldn’t you know that love does conquer all?
Even this blog is centered on love; as we constructively criticize trends so that we do the right thing, get it?

I once read an article, which enlightened me that love does require a lot of hard work, obligation and thoughtful effort.
To love, you have to deliberately choose to genuinely commit to the other person or humanity in general.

So what are we doing to avoid the next war? The sci-fi movies that have dominated box offices clearly seem to anticipate it and have infected the rest of the world with their dark fantasies.
I wonder who is infiltrating the minds of the media, musicians, movie producers, politicians and other groups that get the world’s attention and making them plant wrong ideas in our minds.

Too many things are just not right as our health dwindles, wealth plummets, terrorists thrive, Government cheats, Politicians lie, same sex marry, meanwhile the new generation is watching as they are further confused about what the future expects of them in this literally insane world.
This is the exact point where love perfectly fits in, just as Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Darkness cannot overcome darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot conquer hat, only love can do that”, and one more thing, we’ve got to have faith.

Thank you for your time.

CHILL#?!

“Don’t take things too seriously, and just chill”…Kallash Kher

Hold Up!

Believe it or not, life is as tough as it gets, no warning, no prepping, it just happens, meeting you where you are, perhaps expecting you to be ready or meet it half way if you dare.
The point is, life is probably fair, or not, it’s actually up to your perspective, who said it’d be easy anyway?
But regardless of whatever, first of, hold up, I even wonder how to use the word chill.

Take a chill pill as they say, or maybe just cool it down, or else you may find that life is like a roller coaster, which may of course be too fast, and damn too furious too.

Have you been in a traffic hold up before? Trust me, that’s probably the only time
some folks actually apply their brakes, and during that moment, if observant, you’ll realize how unnecessarily fast you’ve been.
You speed so fast that you miss a lot of important though subtle details.

Like did you see a loving granny bid that kid farewell? Did you see the  youngster-playing ball with his dog Igor? Do you know what your neighbours beautiful flowers smell like? You sure missed a lot of fine elements that surround you and long for your attention, but who am I to say?

“Keep your feet on the ground, but let your heart soar as high as it will. Refuse to be average or to surrender to the chill of your spiritual environment”…Arthur Helps

Even Nature isn’t in a hurry

One thing is for sure, I’ll never stop wondering how despite how long it takes for crops to grow, and we still always have enough to buy from the market.
You may call it mechanized agriculture, but when you realize how nature takes time to grow and even heal us ourselves as a product of nature, we’ll discover that we are being thought valuable lessons each day, but we fail to notice.
Nature takes it’s time to do things so that we appreciate her work after it takes us a while to notice.
Technically, we are not meant for the fast lane, but we sure were designed to make things happen especially by changing the world for the better, brick by brick, that is our destiny.

“There comes a time when people get tired of being pushed out from the glittering sunlight of life’s July, and left standing amid the piercing chill of an alpine November ”…Martin Luther King Jnr

Make that move though…

It might actually require an entire book to analyze Africa in direct proportion to the world in terms of thoughts, perspectives and consequential actions.
Of course we know that flashpoint areas are usually prone to violence due to poverty, lack of mentors and low government presence and priority.
This further justifies scientists’ research that we are a product of our environment, our environment being a subject of relativity.

In as much as it is imperative for us to pause to appreciate the fresh air, it is also incumbent for us to be pro-active by making the world a better place, which systematically hinges on love.
If you have genuine love for your neighbor, you will look out for the best in them, not just because what goes around comes around, but also because love conquers all. Love will make you provide opportunities such as education, healthcare, and other essential amenities so that the value and standard of lives can improve.

“Every kid deserves a shot at greatness”…LLCoolJ

What are you really saying?

Like I said, it will take a lifetime and countless books to analyze the world and its goings-on, we seriously need to have an open mind towards growth and development of our people’s minds without bias, greed, corruption and selfishness.
There has to be a genuine aspiration to make the world a better place by providing opportunities for the regular kid, guy or whoever requires it.
For all one cares, perhaps the cure to cancer and even AIDS is locked up in the minds of less privileged kids without opportunity to get educated.

The world is passing by, yet corrupt and myopic nations such as Nigeria have yet to present anything substantial to show for it.
All there is to see is stolen wealth, yet, the more you look for it, the less you actually see, because they have been siphoned abroad only to be wasted on unnecessary material possessions, that cause Nigerians to be further impoverished, earning Nigeria the reputation of the most wasteful people lacking basic financial intelligence.

So, for how long are we chilling? Or have we chilled long enough and its time to smell the coffee? Trust me, it is what it is, and reality is really happening.

Thanks for reading.
