NAIJA!...MIND YOU

"When you connect to the silence within you, that is when you can make sense of the disturbance going on around you”... Stephen Richards British Author.

Our Minds are definitely boxed

Vision is an incredibly powerful phenomenon; it helps you see what your natural eyes cannot comprehend. Vision comes to your mind, and is indulged by the capacity of your imagination.
Our minds however are too occupied with noise and worry so much that we have not been able to realize that our nose is underneath our very nose.

A majority of the Nigerian population are plagued with illiteracy, poverty, injustice, exploitation, slavery and oppression from all sides, so mush it seems the people are looking for the sun while facing downwards.
This has depleted the tendency of optimum creativity, which is of course bourne of a mind in a state of harmony.

However, all the listed negatives are not an excuse for not living the good life, even the Holy Bible advices us in Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” meaning that we shouldn’t allow negative circumstances deter us from sticking to our vision for our desired future, and that we should have an open mind to acquiring new knowledge.

“They are not human resources. They are resourceful humans”…Venkat Kumaresan. An Author, Public Speaker and Poet.

Human Resource

Isn’t it expeditiously obvious that a nation is great only to the degree of the exposure, enlightenment, goodness, open-mindedness, initiative, virtue and intelligence of her people?
No nation is perfect, but their survival, dignity and integrity depends on them sharing a common truth and mission, with justice, equity and untainted goodwill towards all.
Just as they say that the mind is a terrible thing to waste, the worst thing any nation can do is to under-estimate the potentials of her people.
The populace of any nation is as useful and productive to their nation to the degree to which the nation provides support through welfare and infrastructure to help amplify their talents and actions.

“In my experience, the most staunchly held views are based on ignorance or accepted dogma, not carefully considered accumulations of facts. The more you expose the intricacies and realities of the situation, the less clear-cut things become”…Mary Roach (1959 - ) American Author specializing in popular science and humour.

Dogma

Africa has been considered the poorest continent for many years, despite the fact that She boasts of a strong populace and vast mineral resources such as Oil, Diamonds, Gold, Bitumen, Tin and so much more. The attributed poverty exists because the enlightened Africans in power chose to betray their people into modern slavery for their selfish gains.
They have oppressed and suppressed their people with hunger, lack and illiteracy so that they can control them like dictators, a move which is far from sustainable.
My point here is that, this cheap move of tyrants in high places is a way of altering the eco system.

The wrong and unqualified people when in power allow the people suffer and diminish the tendency of prosperity. The status quo becomes infectious, and forces the oppressed people to trod on the weaker of them, causing untold chaos and a bleak future.

“The outer world is a reflection of the inner world. Other people’s perception of you is a reflection of them; your response to them is an awareness of you”…Roy T. Bernnett. Author of The Light in the Heart.

The Ultimate Awareness

Discovery of self and helping others also find their voices have been attributed to being the climax of the possible achievements of mankind because of the hard work, demonstration of love and the sacrifice it entails.
No human can ever be truly happy unless he or she does something for at least one person. Even bad guys are nice to some people one way or another.

For Nigeria and Africa to be great indeed, her citizens and residents alike must strive to help her become a better place by them not just doing good, but also by practically living a virtuous life deliberately. Initiatives that will guaranty education for all should be implemented. Justice must prevail upon the top shots that divert resources meant to build the people and their infrastructure.

Every citizen and resident alike must be treated like a human being regardless of his or her status, otherwise we are all in a child’s play kingdom.
Our minds are very powerful, and so are we, and if we do not speak out as an intelligent and self-aware population with one loud voice we will not be heard, talk more being listened to, and posterity will judge us aright.

God bless Nigeria, Africa, and the world!

Thank you, and be awesome because you truly are.
